Doulton has been making ceramic water filters, in the UK, for nearly 200 years. The ceramic is made from natural materials; and it has 80% less plastic waste than other available synthetic cartridge filters. Only suitable for a mains pressure supply. The Ultracarb® is a standard BSP 10-inch water filter cartridge candle with NSF Certification.
During use, contaminants filtered from the water may build up on the outer surface of the ceramic cartridge and cause a reduction in flow through the unit. The cartridge will, therefore, need removing periodically for cleaning to restore the flow.
Cleaning frequency will be dependent on the condition of the incoming water. A cartridge that has reached the end of its life would be indicated by a reduction in the quality of the filtered water with respect to taste. The cartridge should be replaced in accordance with the rated service capacity, which would typically give a period of six months usage. BPA free.

Flow Rate of your Doulton Water Filter
The output of the filtered water is completely dependent on the line pressure and input water quality. If your water source has fine sediments, this will affect the output flow rate and increase the frequency of cleaning the Water Filter Candle.
We take utmost care in shipping our products to you, however since our Filter Candles are made of all natural mineral clays, they are fragile. There is a chance that they may break due to mishandling during transit. Please report any Filter Candle damages/ breakages within 7 days of delivery to arrange for a replacement candle. Claims post this period will not be replaced by Doulton. No Returns or refunds will be applicable once the product is assembled and used.
