ABOUT THE HBA-MKII INSTALLATION KIT
The Installation kit for the British Berkefeld HBA – MK II water filter that gets you refreshingly clean, healthy and tasty drinking water in a jiffy. This includes installation screws with plugs, connector, tube & Teflon tape. The accessories in the HBA – MKII installation kit will ensure fast & easy installation, like a DIY project, but much easier.

If your tap water has a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) of less than 500 ppm, which most municipal water connections do, Doulton might be the best and cost effective option for you to get healthy, tasty drinking water, as it effectively filters out 99.99% plus of common contaminants along with bacteria, cysts and particles.

The kit contains: 2 wall screws with plugs, 2 connectors (1/2″ female thread to 3/8″ push-fit), 1.5 metres of 3/8″ tube, and 1 roll of Teflon tape — everything needed to connect the filter to your water supply.
The HBA MKII box includes the housing, candle, valve and spout. This kit provides the plumbing hardware — tubing and connectors — to connect it to your water supply. It is optional but recommended for a complete, clean setup.
No. This kit is designed specifically for the HBA MKII’s 1/2″ BSP inlet connection. It is not guaranteed compatible with the HCP, EcoFast, or other models.
Yes. The kit is designed for DIY installation — push-fit connections and Teflon tape require no soldering or specialist tools. Our How-to installation video here provides step-by-step guidance.
1.5 metres of 3/8″ tube is included. If your water supply connection is located further from the wall-mounting point, you may need to source additional tubing separately.
If your water source is borewell/tanker etc with TDS above 500 ppm, we do not recommend Doulton Water Filters.
