- Spare parts not available. A nipple was damaged while installing and I had to use a metal connector as spare parts are not sold by the company, nor are they available in outside market. Since it's metal, it's rusting. Not sure what's the problem in investing on some inventory of spare parts which can be bought by customers if needed.
- Cleaning the candle housing is a pain. Black spots are seen but they don't go despite cleaning
- Now filter price has also been steeply hiked. Too expensive for a simple setup. Rs.5k was itself on the higher side, but now it costs Rs. 8.5k!!! Read less

I get corporation water which and having any uv filter or to uv made my life complicated to pay 3k to 4k as a service every year. And the companies force you to change the filter after 3 4 years by stating it's a old model and no spares available. From there on the process to purchase was quick. The installation was simple and the filtration is really good. In on the second replacement ceramic filter that is working very efficiently.
Recently i had an issue with the ball valve and the water leakage even after shutting off the tap. They understood the problem and found me a quick solution. I was able to sort the issue out and have it running again.
I would recommend Doulton for the following reasons:
1. The filtration method itself which is sustainable and definitely the way forward.
2. The ease of use and no power etc required.
3. The ease of maintenance right at home by the family.
